(NewsDakota.com)- The Jimmies met up with the Dickinson Blue Hawks in the semi-finals of the NAIA unaffiliated softball tournament and got locked in a 12-inning affair that was eventually won by the Hawks.
Rebecca Lopez ended the game in walk-off fashion when her three-run blast cleared the fence, sending Dickinson St. to the championship round unbeaten.
The Jimmies then were matched up against U of Great Falls, a team they had beaten three out of four times and 8-0 just two days earlier. This time however, the Argos got the best of Jamestown winning 6-2 and ending the Jimmies season.
Jamestown finished the year 21-13 and won 11 of their last 14.
