(NewsDakota.com) One of the trailers used for seasonal travelers at the Twin Pine Lodge and Extended Stay in Oakes was severely damaged in a Tuesday afternoon fire.
The Oakes Fire department reported to the scene, in the 1400 block of Main Avenue around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday. The Lodge’s Manager, Shawn Ulmer says he was in the process of cleaning all the trailers and preparing them for seasonal travelers when one of the units caught fire.
The stove in the unit was determined to be the source of the fire and caused significant damage to the trailer, which Ulmer says will have to be replaced.
No injuries were reported.
