CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Someone or a group of people have been rummaging through vehicles in Valley City this week. Police Chief Fred Thompson said entry was gained to unlocked vehicles and a number of items were taken according to the owners interviewed by police.

Thompson said any suspicious activity should be reported to the police or anyone with information about these incidents should call the Valley City police department at 845-3110. Thompson reminded the public to lock doors on their vehicles and homes.
