(NewsDakota.com) Lisbon hosted the Glen Moore Outdoor track and field meet on Friday, and Oakes competed alongside 27 other teams on the boys side, and 25 on the girls side; finishing in 14th and 15th place respectfully.

On the boys side, the Tornadoes finished with a team total of 14 points, and were lead by a win in the 1600 meter relay with a time of 3:49.15. Blake Hollingsworth took third in 200 meter dash, just missing out on a state qualifying time with a time of 23.26 seconds. Eric Burros finished seventh in the 400 meter relay, Keaton Peterson finished eighth in the javelin, and the 800 meter relay team took fifth place.

The girls of Oakes netted 18 points. Ashley Peterson was third in the 400 meter dash with a time of 1:04.06, and the 800 and 1600 meter relay teams finished fifth and third respectfully.  

Lisbon won the meet on the boys side with 100 points, and Carrington was first out of the girls teams with 119 points.
