N.D. (NewsDakota.com) It’s the final week of the 2013 North Dakota Legislative Session and a number of bills are still being working on by lawmakers in both chambers.

Valley City Senator Larry Robinson said a $3.6 million request by Valley City State for operating expenses and capital improvements remains up in the air as of Monday. He said of that $2.4 million was cut from the VCSU request. He said the total cut for the entire university system is $47 million. But he and other lawmakers are working hard to get the funding restored.

Robinson said the session may wrap up by Friday, if it does, District 24 legislators may hold a forum Saturday to update the public on passed and failed 2013 legislative session measures.

Robinson said the future forum will be announced as soon as possible after the session has wrapped up.
