FORKS, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) A foot of snow and up to a foot-and-a-half of snow fell on some areas of south central and southeastern North Dakota between Sunday and Monday morning. National Weather Service Meteorologist Jeff Makowski said snow fall amounts vary from 6 inches in Wahpeton to nearly a foot in Valley City and Fargo.

National Weather Service meteorologist Adam Jones said 18 to 20 inches of snow was reported in Bismarck, about a 17 inches in Jamestown and 12 plus in Carrington. 19 inches of snow fell in Oakes, and nearly 16 inches fell in Edgeley.
