(NewsDakota.com) Once again, Mother Nature hasn’t been able to take the hint that the calendar clearly says the spring season is upon us.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for Dickey, Ransom, and Sargent Counties, in effect until 1 a.m. Friday, and a Winter Weather Advisory for Barnes and LaMoure Counties also until 1 a.m. Friday. The area could see anywhere from two to eight inches of snow through Friday morning.

In addition, the Weather Service notes there is yet another potent storm on the horizon for Saturday night through Sunday. At this time, it appears that a good amount of snow will fall north of Interstate 94, while areas south will received a mixed form of precipitation.
