CITY (NewsDakota.com) – The Valley City State fastpitch softball team has moved its weekend games to Dickinson.

The Vikings were set to play at Presentation College and host Presentation College this weekend, but unfavorable weather has the two teams traveling to Dickinson to hopefully play doubleheaders on Saturday and Sunday.

Presentation College is 7-19 so far this season. VCSU has a record of 3-17. The Vikings have not played since April 3, when they swept a doubleheader at Dakota State.

Saturday’s forecast in Dickinson calls for temperatures near 50, but the area could see snow on Sunday. Games times are 2 and 4 p.m. MST on Saturday, and 1 and 3 p.m. MST on Sunday.

The Vikings were also forced to cancel a home doubleheader with University of Great Falls scheduled for Sunday.
