N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The North Dakota Highway Patrol said 28-year-old Reavis Dandridge died from injuries sustained in what authorities are investigating as a vehicle/pedestrian hit-and-run incident that took place early Sunday morning in Sargent County.
The Highway Patrol reported a truck driven by 22-year-old Dakota Sutton of Brampton, North Dakota struck Dandridge on Sargent County Road 2, four miles south of North Dakota Highway 11 around 3 a.m. Sunday.
The victim was taken by a private party to the Oakes Community Hospital around 5 a.m., and was pronounced dead shortly after his arrival.

Sutton was arrested and charged with Leaving The Scene of a Fatal crash. The investigation, with assistance from the State Bureau of Criminal Investigation, Sargent County Sheriff’s Office, and the Oakes Police Department, is continuing.
