N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Nina Sneider, the first ever executive director of Buffalo City Tourism since the foundation began in 2004 was celebrated for her work with the city of Jamestown over the years as she prepares for retirement.

The celebration was held at the National Buffalo Museum.

Searle Swedlund, who has spent the last several years with Alumni Relations at Concordia College in Moorhead, Minn., will be succeeding Sneider effective the end of March.

Sneider told NewsDakota.com in an interview earlier this year that she plans to eventually move back to Minnesota where she will be closer to her family.
