LAKE (NewsDakota.com)  The seasons for three teams will come to an end tonight, but for one it will continue on to next week Thursday, Friday and Saturday, March 21st – 23rd  for the State Class B Girls Basketball Tournament at the FargoDome.  The first game will feature the Carrington Cardinals up against the North Star Bearcats for third place, tipoff is set for 6pm.  20 minutes after, the Championship game will feature two of the top ten teams in the state, No. 5 Lakota/Adams-Edmore (21-2) against No. 6 Benson County (23-1). 

Benson County’s only loss this year was to North Star, LAE has lost to Carrington and Benson County, their loss to BC was by one point in December.  The winner of Region Four will play Region Six in the last game of the opening round of the State B.

Championship: District 12 No. 1 Bishop Ryan (23-0, No. 1 in North Dakota) vs. District 11 No. 1 Velva (22-2)

Pregame for the Carrington game will be at 5:35pm on AM 1600 KDAK and online at newsdakota.com, tipoff at 6pm
