CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Authorities have responded to more than a dozen crashes in Barnes County alone due to slippery road conditions.
Barnes County Chief Deputy Don Fiebiger said so far, one person has been transported to the hospital in Valley City and treated for minor injuries following a pickup school bus crash on Wednesday.
A dispatcher said that the pickup crashed into a school bus on the Interstate near Eckelson sending one person to the hospital. No children were on the bus at the time of the crash around 9:30am Wednesday. Earlier a van rolled on Interstate 94 near Sanborn and before that a pickup rolled near the Eckelson exit. The dispatcher said 5 crashes were reported this morning and about 9 Tuesday night in Barnes County.
