(NewsDakota.com) The Oakes School Board has narrowed the list of finalists to serve as the district’s next Superintendent to four.

In four special sessions last week, the Board interviewed Martin Braturd; Superintendent and High School Principal at Flasher along with Joshua Johnson; middle school principle in Devils Lake, Tom Nitschke; Superintendent at Kulm, and Laura Schuster, Superintendent in Groton South Dakota. 

An announcement on the person chosen is scheduled for March 15, and the individual will replace Art Conklin, who has decided to retire at the end of the school year.
