Olga Froelich, 96, of Montpelier, ND, died Friday, March 8, 2013, at Eventide at Hi Acres, Jamestown.
Olga Konoske was born November 4, 1916, the daughter of Herman and Elsie (Bachman) Konoske. She was educated at Montpelier School No. 2 and attended Montpelier High School. Olga married Elmer Froelich in July 1935 and they made their home in Ypsilanti Township for one year. They moved to Manns Township in 1937 and into a new home in 1950. Olga was a member of the ALCW, taught Sunday school, and was the church organist for 33 years. She was a charter member of Mann Social Club. Olga enjoyed gardening, baking, and playing the organ. She was a bar maid and manager of the Farmers’ Bar, which was owned by Bud Headland.
Olga and Elmer celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary July 1985. She moved to Eventide at Hi-Acres in June 2004.
Olga is survived by her children, Loren (Della) Froelich, Montpelier, ND, Randy (Judy) Froelich, Hurricane, UT, Stuart Froelich, Seattle, WA, and Linda Wick, Moorhead, MN; grandchildren, Terry Froelich, Montpelier, Robert (Holly) Froelich, Montpelier, Tammy (Brad) Moldenhauer, Fargo, ND, Lyn Turner, Moorhead, MN, Troy Froelich, Texas; 17 great-grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; and one sister, Gladys Grady, Seattle, WA.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one brother; one sister.
Funeral Service: 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at the Montpelier Lutheran Church, Montpelier, ND with Rev. Terry Anderson officiating.
Visitation: 1:00 P.M. to 5:00P.M., Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at Williams-Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown.
Interment: Montpelier Cemetery, Montpelier, ND.
