In the first game of the day, the Loboes lead the first and second quarters, but saw the Titans rally in the third quarter; taking the Loboes 14-8 in the session. Down the stretch, LLM got back into it, and head on to win their 14th game in a row.
LLM (21-2) had 18 points from Brady Thielges and he was 7 out of 14 from the floor for the game. Jared Meiklejohn added another 13, and Anthony Olson scored 11 and had 12 rebounds. Trinity (22-2) was lead in scoring by Jacob Volk with 28 points, Jacob Good had 7
Milnor 60 Shiloh Christian 56
The second game saw the Bison fight their way back all the way through the contest, being down at the first eight minutes 23-15, and not having the lead until 7.9 seconds remaining in regulation.
Milnor (19-6) had a double double from Wyatt Mund; 32 points and 16 rebounds, was 11-16 from the floor and 13 of 16 from the free throw line. Briton Bussman had 17. The Skyhawks (17-7) were lead by 18 points from Donavon Lambert and Walter Bearstail added another 11.
Trenton 54 Cavalier 52
To start the night session, the Tornadoes and Tigers were even after the first eight minutes, and Cavalier had a slim edge at the end of the half. The two stats that stood out were Cavalier shooting 36.7 from the floor in the second half, while Trenton hit 60 percent of their shots; and the Tornadoes losing despite out rebounding the Tigers 46-18.
Trenton had two players with 16 points, Lane Huck and Trenten Hove. Cavalier had 24 points from Brock Robbins and 14 from Ryan Chrest.
Four Winds/Minnewauken 53 Rugby 49
The final game featured a back and forth affair, with the Indians rallying down the stretch to hold off the Panthers and move on to the semifinals even as Rugby finished with a 12-9 run in the final eight minutes.
The Indians (22-2) had 22 points from Trayvon McKay, while Austin Longie scored 17. The Panthers (24-1) leading scorer was Kyle Lovick with 16 points, and Kyle Halvorson added another 12 points in the loss.
Consolation play starts Friday at 1 p.m with Dickinson Trinity and Shiloh Christian, followed by Cavalier and Rugby. Semifinal play starts at 6:30 p.m. with LaMoure-Litchville/Marion and Milnor, and Four Winds/Minnewauken and Trenton.
