COUNTY, N.D. (KFGO News) – A Fort Ransom woman accused in the death of her toddler son has entered a plea. Twenty-nine year old Jodi Lindvall appeared in Ransom County court Wednesday before Judge John Paulson.
She also pleaded not guilty to murder in the death of her 22-month old son Bentley. He died three days after being brought to a Fargo Hospital with court documents saying the child had bruises on his neck, broken bones and significant head trauma — injuries that prosecutors say were inconsistent with Lindvall’s story that he hit his head while struggling to change his diaper.
Lindvall is currently free pending her next court appearance but she faces up to life in prison without the possibility of parole if convicted of the murder charge.
