young farm families were elected to the North Dakota Farm Bureau Young Farmers and Ranchers Committee, during the recently held YF&R Leadership Conference in Bismarck, February 1-3.
 
The committee is comprised of young farmers and ranchers between the ages of 18 and 35, elected from each of the nine Farm Bureau districts across the state. The purpose of the committee is to provide leadership, networking and growth opportunities for young farmers and ranchers.
 
Elected to the District 3 position are Travis and Dana Dagman from Enderlin. The couple farm corn, soybeans and wheat. Travis and Dana will represent Lamoure, Ransom, Richland, Dickey and Sargent counties. Travis is on the Ransom County Farm Bureau board and serves as township treasurer. Dana is the coordinator of the area MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) group located at First Lutheran Church in Enderlin.
 
Elected to the District 5 position are Levi and Brianna Taylor. The couple grows corn and soybeans on their farm southeast of Jamestown. Levi and Brianna will represent Wells, Foster, Kidder, Stutsman, Logan and McIntosh counties. They are involved with their local church and enjoy the opportunity to share what they do on their farm with others.
 
Elected to the District 6 position are Nathan and Katie Fegley of Berthold. Nathan farms small grains and operates a cow calf operation. He also owns and operates Fegley Grain Cleaning. Katie is a Crop Insurance Specialist for Farm Credit Services. The couple will represent Renville, Bottineau, Ward, McHenry, McLean and Sheridan Counties.
 
Other committee members are: YF&R Chair couple Spencer and Rachel Bina of Park River, who also represent District 1; District 2 representatives Mark and Bridget Belter of Fargo; District 4 representatives Jon and Cindy Brown of Crary; District 7 representatives Kristopher and KaSondra Staiger of Hebron; and District 9 representative Chris Holznagel of Dickinson.
 
North Dakota Farm Bureau is the most effective general farm and ranch organization in the state of North Dakota, with more than 27,000 members and 50 organized county Farm Bureaus.
