N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The top two teams in District 2 during the regular season will meet again Monday night in the District 2 Tournament finals, as No. 1 seed Oak Grove and No. 2 seed Central Cass were victorious in Saturday’s semifinals.

The Grovers defeated Enderlin 63-57, led by 11 points each from seniors Jordan Funfar and Tyler Christianson.

In the second semifinal, the Squirrels downed Maple Valley 77-70 with senior guard Ellery Bresnahan posting 30 points to pace Central Cass.

Oak Grove defeated Central Cass back on Jan. 24 by a 98-84 score and have yet to lose a district game this season (9-0).

With consolation ladder wins on Saturday, Finley-Sharon/Hope-Page and Richland both advanced to Monday’s region qualifiers. Maple Valley and FS/HP will start things off at 4:30 p.m. at the Fargo Civic Center followed by Richland vs. Enderlin and the evening will be capped off by the championship game at approximately 7:30 p.m.
