(NewsDakota.com)- Five teams will play for four spots in the Region III tournament coming up this weekend in Ellendale during the annual District V Boy’s Basketball Tournament.

Tournament starts Saturday night and runs through Tuesday with two games being played each day at the brand new Ellendale High School gym.

Lamoure-Litchville-Marion is the top-seed and will not play until Monday night.

Saturday night’s games feature a 4/5 matchup between Barnes County North and Pingree-Buchanan-Kensal and a 2/3 showdown with Edgeley-Kulm-Montpeiler and Ellendale. 

Action gets underway at 6:00pm on Saturday night and the entire tournament will be broadcast on TED-FM 98.3/102.7 FM.
