(NewsDakota.com) The Cardinals girls basketball team was in action last night against District Seven foe Midkota Mustangs. The Cards came out on top 45-32, they improve to 10-4 overall, 3-1 in District play. The Mustangs drop to 9-5 overall and 2-2 in district seven.
The Cards were led by Sr. Nikki Braaten with 14 followed by Sr. Breana Barton with 12. Both teams combined for 40 turnovers, 20 each.
The Mustangs were led by Saddie Harding with 13.
Next up for the Carrington girls will be parents night Tuesday, February 12th against district opponent Four Winds/Warwick/Minnewaukan. Pregame can be heard on AM 1600 KDAK around 7p for the varsity game.
