N.D. (AP) – Housing around North Dakota is the focus of a conference in Bismarck this week.
The 22nd Annual Statewide Housing Conference was being hosted by the North Dakota Housing Finance Agency on Wednesday and Thursday.
Executive Director Mike Anderson says it’s an opportunity for leaders in housing and community development to discuss ways to meet the state’s housing challenges.
Adequate housing is a particular concern in the booming western oil patch.
Economist Sean Snaith will give a presentation at the conference on the impact of energy development, and State Demographer Richard Rathge will give an overview of housing needs in the state.
