(NewsDakota.com) Oakes High School will be quite a busy place the next couple days.
The boys basketball team will be at home for the final time of the 2012-13 regular season when they host Wyndmere-Lidgerwood in the last District 1 contest before the post-season arrives in two weeks. Oakes is currently in the 6th spot in the District with a record of 2-4, while Wyndmere-Lidgerwood sits in second place. Oakes won their last District 1 game on the 24th of January at F-C-T in a thrilling 69-65 victory.
The Oakes wrestlers enter the post-season Saturday when they welcome the rest of the teams from Region I for the Duel Tournament. Oakes is the second seed, with South Border in the #1 spot. First round match-ups start at 10 a.m., with the Championship round set for around 3 p.m.
