CITY (NewsDakota.com) – The Hi-Liner wrestling squad has its final two duals of the season this week, going to Fargo Davies on Thursday night and Jamestown on Friday night.

Valley City (4-8, 2-5 EDC) will not qualify for the state dual tournament. Following their two duals this week, the Hi-Liners will shift their focus to the EDC Regional Tournament on Feb. 9 in Grand Forks. There, Valley City’s wrestlers will compete for spots in the individual state tournament.

The State Wrestling Tournament is set for Feb. 14-16 at the Fargodome. The top eight wrestlers in each weight class at the EDC and WDA Tournament qualify for State.

Friday’s final regular season dual at Jamestown can be heard on the radio on TED 98.3/102.7. Pre-match coverage will begin about 6:45 p.m.
