(NewsDakota.com)- Erron Collins poured in 29 points to lead Mandan Braves to a 80-58 victory over the Blue Jays. The Braves jumped on the Jays for a 20-0 lead in the first four minutes and lead wire-to-wire.

Jamestown fought back to close the gap to nine, but Mandan took an 11-point lead into the break. Lucas Keller had 11 points on the night, nine of which came from beyond the arch in the first half.

Collins started the scoring in the first half with a driving lay-up and then preceded to knock down a trio of triples, for a total of six on the evening. Mandan scored the first 11 of the second half to pull away for good.

Nathan Schmit chipped in with 16 for the Braves.

The Jays fall to 2-8 (1-6) on the season and return to action on Saturday when they host Bismarck High.
