FORKS, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The National Weather Service office in Grand Forks says a wintery mix of freezing rain and snow may dump 6 to 12 inches of snow in a narrow band from Lisbon to Fargo and south to Wahpeton in south eastern North Dakota.

The Bismarck National Weather Service says a wintery mix of weather could drop 3 to 4 inches of snow in south central North Dakota including the cities of Oakes, LaMoure, Edgeley, Ellendale, Linton and Napoleon.

Several vehicle either crashed or were reported in the ditch in eastern South Dakota due to slippery road conditions.

Valley City to Finley would receive 3 to 5 inches of snow. Jamestown and Carrington are expected to receive little or no snow from this system. Motorists are asked to disengage their cruise control when roads become slippery and icy.
