CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) A man was seriously injured following an assault at a Valley City home Saturday night. Police say the man was transported to Mercy Hospital for treatment of injuries. His condition has not been released. Police say one man was arrested and faces aggravated assault charges a second man was arrested and faces charges of disorderly conduct.

Meanwhile police are investigating the assault of another man Saturday night near the Ram Club. The man was transported to Mercy Hospital and treated for facial injuries. So far, no one has been arrested in this incident which also remains under investigation.

Finally, a 19-year-old Valley City man was arrested and faces drug related charges after police responded to a loud party complaint Saturday afternoon in the 200 block of Central avenue north. The man was cited for possession of methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
