N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Cenex – the CHS Energy brand – and its Tanks of Thanks program rewarded more than 2,600 people with nearly 2,000 in free fuel in 2012.

This month kicks off the second year of the program, which recognizes and rewards people’s good deeds with $50 Tanks of Thanks gift cards redeemable at any Cenex retail location, of which there are nearly 1,400 nationwide and 132 in North Dakota alone.

Locally, Tracy Lee of Valley City was awarded a $50 Cenex gift card as part of the program. CHS Refined Fuels Brand Marketing Manager Akhtar Hussain spoke with NewsDakota.com to discuss the program in addition to Lee’s individual recognition in particular.
