(NewsDakota.com) The Oakes High School wrestling and basketball teams have road trips in opposite directions on Thursday.

The wrestlers venture out to Linton for a duel with the Lions. It’s the last duel of the 2012-13 season for Oakes, as they will go to New Salem this weekend for the East/West Tournament before the Region I Duel Tournament in Oakes the week after.

The boys basketball team heads to Fairmount for a District 1 contest against Fairmount-Campbell-Tintah. Both the Tornadoes and Rebels are 1-3 in District play.
