(NewsDakota.com)- The Jimmies will once again travel west to meet Rocky Mountain College to open up their 2013 campaign. They will meet August 23rd in Miles City, MT on a neutral field. The Battlin’ Bears defeated Jamestown College 38-19 in the first game under head coach Shawn Frank.
Three losses by a combined five points were the difference between a 7-3 record and the 4-6 record the Jimmies finished with. They lost a double overtime game on the road in Madison, SD against Dakota St. and dropped a decision to Dickinson St. on the games last play.
Valley City State appears on the schedule twice again. The first meeting between the historic rivals will be August 31st at Rollie Greeno Field. They will play for the Paint Bucket again on October 26th.
Presentation College (Aberdeen, SD) is the only team they Jimmies will play this season that they didn’t play last year.
