CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Work on the Sheyenne riverbank stabilization project along “Main Street” in Valley City is moving slowly this week due to extremely cold temperatures.
The contractor is installing steel sheeting to repair river bank erosion along the Sheyenne River.
A small section of “Main Street” in front of the Rosebud Visitor’s Center in Valley City is closed due to the project and is not expected to reopen until mid February. Motorists are being detoured to 2nd Street NW from 5th Avenue NW to Central Avenue as work continues on the riverbank stabilization project in Valley City.
