(NewsDakota.com) After a weekend trip which saw both the girls and boys teams stumble against Groton South Dakota, the Oakes High School basketball teams return home Tuesday evening to welcome the Leola/Frederick South Dakota Titans.

Both schools have met previously in the 2012-13 season, and Oakes was victorious in both contests during the opening round of the Dakota Holiday Tournament in Ellendale. The games were the first wins of the season for Oakes at the time. The girls took down the Titans 49-23, which included Oakes up with a 22-5 halftime lead, while the boys held down the Titans 42-39, finishing the game on an 11-5 run.
