(NewsDakota.com)- Mayville State might need a new defensive game plan when they return to the Civic Center on Thursday night. The Comets sat in a 2-3 zone and allowed Carly Jensen to lead an assault from the perimeter. The junior from White Bear Lake, MN had hit four threes the night before and followed that up with five in the win over the Comets. 

Overall Jensen was 9-of-13 from beyond the arc during the Dakota Tip-off Classic, which the Jimmies won in decisive fashion. She is 9th in the NAIA with a percentage of 43.4%.

Mayville State and the Jimmies will tip-off at 5:30pm on Thursday from the Civic Center. The game will be on 1400 KQDJ and NewsDakota.com.
