E. Dietzler, 93, of Breckenridge, MN, formerly of Milnor, ND, passed away January 19, 2013 at St. Francis Home, Breckenridge, MN.

Georgia Ellen Gary, daughter of Earl and Maude Gary was born February 16, 1919 at Milnor, North Dakota, where she grew up and attended school. She graduated from Milnor High School in 1937. Georgia was united in marriage to Clarence Dietzler on October 8, 1937 at Milnor. To this union, four children were born. Clarence and Georgia farmed until 1947, when they became partners with Clarence’s brother, Lyle and purchased the Milnor Super Valu Store. They owned and operated Dietzler’s Super Valu until retiring in 1972. After retiring, Clarence and Georgia spent 20 years wintering in Weslaco, Texas, and enjoyed spending the summers at their lake home in Minnesota. Clarence passed away on August 18, 1991. Georgia continued to make her home in Milnor until she moved to Breckenridge, Minnesota. Georgia was active in ladies aid, bowling league, card clubs, and shuffling tournaments. She enjoyed fishing, hunting, and watching the Minnesota Twins with Clarence.

She is survived by four children, Shirley Hasbargen, Wahpeton, ND, Sharon (Donald) Ordahl, Milnor, ND, Gary (Sheryl) Dietzler, Angle Inlet, MN, and Helen Mairs, Lisbon, ND; 15 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Norma (Henry) Kjos, Wyndmere, ND; and a sister-in-law, Mildred (Floyd) Costain, Milnor. Georgia was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence, her parents, Earl Gary and Maude Warner, stepfathers, Robert Thomas and Vernal Warner, brothers, Robert Thomas and Earl Gary, sisters, Phyllis Thomas, Juanita Groszek and Helen Painter, sons-in-law, Edward Hasbargen and Larry Mairs.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Dahlstrom Funeral Home, Milnor. Her funeral will be Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at the Milnor Lutheran Church, Milnor, ND. Burial will be at Milnor Lutheran Cemetery in the spring.
