(NewsDakota.com)- Eight college basketball teams from around the area will descend on the Jamestown Civic Center this weekend for the Dakota Tip-off Tournament. The men’s and women’s teams from Jamestown College, Valley City St., Dakota St., and Mayville St. will be each play two games this weekend. 

Both Valley City St teams and the Jimmie women will come into the contest ranked in the NAIA Top-25. The Dakota St. men have also received votes.

Action beings at 1pm on Saturday with a doubleheader between VCSU and Mayville St. The women will play first with the men to follow. At 5pm the Trojans will play Jamestown College.

The losers of Saturday’s game will play at 1pm (women’s) and 3pm (men’s) and the winners will play at 5pm (women’s) and 7pm (men’s).

All four games Saturday will be broadcast across the Dakota Country Radio Network (KQDJ, KOVC, KDDR, KDAK).  Any games on Sunday involving the Jimmies and/or the Vikings will be on TED-FM 98.3/102.7. As always our games will be streamed at NewsDakota.com
