N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – For the first time in its history, Streeter — a Stutsman County town of about 175 people — welcomes a country music legend.
Originally scheduled for 7 p.m. tonight, country artist Collin Raye’s concert at Streeter City Hall has been postponed until 7 p.m. on Sunday because the singer has been hospitalized with flu-like symptoms.
Jenn Giroux, Raye’s manager, spoke with NewsDakota.com on Wednesday:
On Sunday, the five-time Male Vocalist of the Year nominee will take to the stage at Streeter City Hall as part of recently founded Recharge Church’s vision of “Positive Charge in a Negative World.”
Raye has sold more than 7 million albums and had 15 No. 1 hits in addition to 24 Top 10’s such as “On the Verge”, “One Boy, One Girl” and “That Was A River.”
Tickets are still available for $18 pre-sale or $20 at the door. For tickets or more information, visit www.rechargechurch.com.
