CITY, N.D. (AP) – An indoor gun range in Valley City has been closed because of excess lead.

City Administrator David Schelkoph said that the range was closed after state health officials did an inspection last month. The range is in the basement of the city’s law enforcement center.

Schelkoph says the city must clean up the lead and install a ventilation system before anyone can use the range.
