Florence Olufson, age 67, of Valley City, ND, died Thursday, January 3rd at her residence. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, January 11th at the Lerud Schuldt Funeral Home in Valley City. Visitation will be held one hour before the service Friday afternoon at the funeral home. Interment will be in Spring Creek Cemetery, near Hastings, ND.

     Florence Victoria Fossen, the daughter of John and Florence (Schoberg) Fossen, was born February 27, 1945 in Adrian, ND. She grew up and attended school in the Adrian area. On July 16, 1965 she married Gordon Olufson in Valley City. Florence worked for many years as a waitress at the Globe Bar in Valley City. Gordon died on November 19, 2001.

     Florence is survived by her two daughters, Debbie (Ron) King, Valley City, ND and Wynette Olufson, Valley City, ND; one sister, Henrietta Aune, Oakes, ND.

     Florence was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son Scott, and her brothers and sisters.
