(NewsDakota.com) The Oakes High School wrestling team finished third as a team at the Central Cass Tournament over the weekend in Casselton.

South Border finished first with a team total of 256.5 points, followed by Webster South Dakota 234.5 and Oakes with 199. 

For Oakes, Grayson Roney finished 6th at 113 lbs, Erik Loepp was 2nd at 120 lbs, Caden Colman was 4th at 132, Austin Kelly was 5th at 138, Trenton Ptacek was 4th at 145, Scott Ketterling was 6th at 152, Keaton Peterson was 4th at 160, Cole Ehrlin was 2nd at 170, Jed Bopp was 5th at 182, Tristan Schmitz was 4th at 195, Cole Kelly was 6th at 220, and Michael Kelly was a Champion at 285.

Other area teams; Lisbon was 7th, LaMoure 8th and Ellendale-Edgeley-Kulm was 15th.
