N.D. (Prairie Public News) – New businesses is seemingly booming around the state of North Dakota.

Secretary of State Al Jaeger says the workload for his office has been constant, referring to the number of business registrations his office has been processing. For a time last year, Jaeger shortened the hours his office was open – so staff could catch up.

Jaeger says the turnaround time actually dropped – from six weeks or more to about two weeks.
