N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Senior Amber Schaack picked up her state-leading 14th and 15th goals of the season as she led the Jamestown Blue Jay girls hockey team to a 6-1 win Thursday night at John L. Wilson Arena over the Mandan Braves.

Senior netminder Carissa Finck was once again stellar in goal, saving 18 of 19 shots as the Blue Jays now move to 9-2 overall this season.

Other Blue Jay goals were posted by Elly Millender, Torri Kamlitz, Ally Dion and Brenna Pritchert.

Jamestown led 5-0 after the first two periods.

They will next travel to Dickinson Saturday for an 11 a.m. Mountain Time face-off, with the boys to follow at 1 p.m. Mountain Time.
