(NewsDakota.com)  In District seven action last night, #7 Carrington defeated Warwick by a final score of 97-44.  The Cards improve to 8-0 overall, 2-0 in District 7.  Warwick drops to 0-6 overall.

Leading the way for the Cards was Senior Forward Austin Johnson with 16, followed by Senior Joey Kubal and Senior Tysen Rosenau with 14.  Kubal had 14 rebounds as well.  Senior captain Taylor Skytland had seven assists.

Carrington shot 56% (42/74) from the field and 55% (11/20) from the charity stripe. 

Next up for Carrington is Tuesday, January 8th against Region three opponent  Lamoure/Litchville-Marion at Lamoure starting at 5:30pm with the JV.  Varsity coverage will be around 7pm, 6:30p pregame on AM 1600 KDAK in Carrington.
