CITY (NewsDakota.com) – Pairings have been set for the annual Girls’ Barnes County Basketball Tournament at Valley City State University.

Valley City is the top seed for the tournament, which runs Jan. 15, 18 and 19 at the W.E. Osmon Fieldhouse. Last year’s champion Maple Valley is the No. 2 seed.

Valley City takes on No. 8 Barnes County North in the opening round at 3 p.m.

No. 4 seed LaMoure-Litchville-Marion plays No. 5 Sargent Central at 4:30 p.m. Maple Valley meets No. 7 Griggs County Central at 6 p.m., and No. 3 seed Enderlin plays No. 6 Finley-Sharon/Hope-Page at 7:30 p.m. in the opening round.
