(NewsDakota.com)  The Carrington girls basketball team played #2 Napoleon in a non-conference match-up last night.  The Cards fell short 61-50.  Carrington drops to 1-1, Region three Napoleon improves to 2-0.

Coming in off the bench and leading the way for the Cards was Junior Jacey Engelhorn with 13 points including two 3-pointers.  Hanna Lipetzky was the only other player in double figures with 12.  Kayla Hochhalter was held to just four points.  Head coach Andy Braaten talks about Engelhorn’s spark and the Imperials shutting down Hochhalter.

The Imperials were led by Senior forward Sheridan Dewald with 18 points (over 1600 career points) and Senior guard Kendra Weigel with 13.
