CITY (NewsDakota.com) – The Valley City girls basketball team puts its perfect 3-0 record on the line tonight when they go to Lisbon for a non-conference game. It is the last Hi-Liner sports event before Christmas.

Valley City received a vote in the latest Class A Top 5 Poll after starting the season 3-0 overall and 2-0 in EDC play. The Hi-Liners have had great balance to start the season. Each game has featured a different high-scorer, and in each game four girls have scored in double-figures.

Lisbon enters tonight’s game with an 0-1 record, losing a one-point game to LaMoure-Litchville-Marion in their opener.

Tonight’s varsity game can be heard on KOVC 1490. Pregame coverage starts at about 7:15 p.m.
