(NewsDakota.com)- Minot had five players in double-figures and two others right on the cusp as they used their balance attack to destroy the Blue Jays last night 83-39.
It was close for the first ten minutes with the teams playing to a 12-12 tie, but after that Minot opened it up. They scored 29 of the next 39 and went into half up 41-22. Colter Hustad, the 6’5″ junior post, had 11 points in the opening stanza.
It was more of the same in the second half as Brian Bloms connected on a trio of three pointers to help further bury the Jays. Jamestown turned it over 22 times in the game.
Hustad led the way with 15 and Bloms chipped in 14. Jamestown did not have a scored in double-figures, but Alex McInnes had eight.
Jamestown is off until next Friday (December 28th) when they play the Valley City Hi-Liners in Valley City. The Jays are currently 0-3.
