CITY (NewsDakota.com) – Three games into the 2012-13 basketball season, the Hi-Liner girls are still undefeated, something the program hasn’t seen in years.

Clarissa Olson scored 25 points Tuesday night, leading the Hi-Liners to a 3-0 record with a 65-56 road victory over Fargo Davies. Olson was one of four players in double figures for Valley City, balance they’ve had in each of their three games.

Dierra Diegel scored 16 points, Jessica Denholm scored 11 and Mariah Olstad added 10 for Valley City.

The win is worth one point in the EDC standings and improves Valley City to 2-0 in EDC play. The Hi-Liners are back in action Thursday night with a non-conference road game at Lisbon. Radio coverage of the game will begin at about 7:15 p.m. on KOVC 1490 and NewsDakota.com.
