CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Nearly every state university in North Dakota made a capital improvement request to the Governor for the legislature to hash out during bi-annual session which starts on January 8.

Valley City State requested $4.1 million for improvements to Vangstad auditorium, of that slightly more than $500,000 would be used for a hillside stabilization project on the Valley City State University campus.

State senator Larry Robinson said it’s something he and other District 24 legislators will have to watch closely during the legislative session.
