MN (Newsdakota.com) – The Viking men and women earned a doubleheader sweep Tuesday night at the University of Minnesota-Morris.

Brittany Lehner scored 15 points, including two big buckets late, as the Viking women improved to 6-1 with a 60-53 win over Morris.

In the men’s game, VCSU knocked down eight 3-pointers in the first half en route to a 61-51 victory that included an alley-oop dunk from AJ McDonald to Gus Keuber.

Sekani Milligen paced the Vikings with 20 points, and Chris Embden added 10 in the victory. VCSU’s men are now 6-2.

The Vikings host Presentation College Thursday night at the W.E. Osmon Fieldhouse. Game times are 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. Radio coverage starts at 5:15 p.m. on TED 98.3/102.7

Another Top 25 Coaches’ Poll was released on Tuesday afternoon, and with it the Viking men moved up two spots to No. 17 in the poll. VCSU’s women remained at No. 19.
