“Nicci” Hannig Bjerke, 37, beloved wife, mother, friend, sister, and daughter, passed away peacefully in Valley City, ND on Sunday, November 25, 2012.  The cause of death is officially undetermined, but appears to be heart failure.  A memorial service and time of remembrance Nicci will be 7:00 p.m., Friday, November 30, 2012 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Valley City.  Family will greet guests beginning at 6:00 at the church.  Rev. Emmy Isaackson will officiate.         

Nicole Elaina Hannig was born on July 16, 1975 in Valley City, ND.  She went to school and spent her entire life in Valley City.  On August 10, 2001, she married Loren Bjerke.  Their daughter, Zoe Michele was born May 10, 2005.           

Nicci is survived by her husband, Loren and their daughter, Zoe Michele, both of Valley City; her mother, JoDene Dahl of Fargo, ND; her father, Lyman (Sally) Hannig of Valley City; a brother, William Hannig of Gwinner, ND; sisters, Kailee and Chelsea Hannig of Valley City and Danielle Jacobson of Bismarck, ND; as well as many many nieces and nephews.          

She was preceded in death by her son, Zayne Michael; and grandmother, Marilyn Dahl.
