(NewsDakota.com)- The Jamestown College basketball teams matched up with Trinity Bible College last night at the Civic Center and took home a pair of wins. The Jimmie women outscored the Lions 44-7 in the second half to win 86-35. The men needed a big second half run to put away TBC, 77-61.

Freshman Jessica Buck and Junior Hannah Steele led the Jimmie women with 17 each in their rout of Trinity. JC gave up 28 points in the first half but had another suffocating second half to allow just seven more points. They allowed only 10 points in the second session to Minnesota-Morris a week ago.

Jamestown native Amber Ramlo had a double-double, 12 points and 10 rebounds.

The men trailed five heading into the break, but over the last 10 minutes did enough to put away the Lions, outscoring TBC 49-29. Mark Hoge had 23 and Davon Thomas finished with 17.

No. 7 William Penn will come to Jamestown on Friday to battle the JC men. Tip-off at 6pm and the pregame show on 1400 KQDJ begins at 5:45pm.
